Hilary Wright is a multi-award-winning writer. A professional with 20 years’ experience, she has published five books on gardening, wine, and travel. Her articles have appeared in national U.K. and U.S. newspapers including the Daily Mail, the Guardian, The Independent on Sunday and the New York Times, and magazines including BBC Good Food and Sainsbury’s Magazine.

Her writing career began in the entertainment industry. While running the concert and events programme of a large entertainment venue she wrote direct marketing materials and concert programmes. She produced a dealership newspaper for Ford of Europe in 14 languages. She organised a national conference of education specialists and wrote all conference materials.

Hilary holds both U.K. and U.S. passports, so she understands cross-cultural communication. She was awarded a Master of Fine Arts in scriptwriting from the University of Hawaii and has written, acted in and directed many plays. Her screenplays have won prizes—and interest from producers.
